Located in East Africa, home to a blend of Arabic and African influences, Tanzania is known for its vast wilderness areas including the plains of Serengeti National Park, populated by the “big five” African animals (elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino), and Kilimanjaro National Park, home to Mount Kilimanjaro. The most idyllic volunteer programs occur on the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro or on the idyllic island of Zanzibar. 

Tanzania is a vastly under developed country and volunteers will provide their skills to help teach local children as well as preserve the amazing wildlife and marine areas.
