Recent NGO Internship Reviews

Sam AldridgeAustralia

My internship with the African Impact Foundation was a defining moment in my career where I took on new challenges, found my purpose, and created memories beyond my expectations.

Zoé ChampelFrance

I saw the incredible changes African Impact and the Foundation brought to our environment and to the life of the people taking part in the program.

Niklas Kløve RyelundDenmark

It is definitely comforting to be surrounded by smart people in a small organisation like this, where there is a short route from idea to reality. It is easy to see that I am making a real, tangible impact. The internship is customized to the strengths and interests of the intern, but I was also challenged every day with tasks that I had never done before. I faced great challenges, but I have now gained skills and experiences because of it.

Ashley AbodeIsrael

Each day is a learning experience that opens eyes, hearts, and minds. You'll begin to form your own opinions of Africa based on your first-hand experiences, and you will keep those stories with you for a lifetime.

Anna Bussell25, UK

What an experience! My internship with African Impact Foundation has been truly incredible. I could not be more grateful for this experience. The Livingstone community both within the organisation and the communities we work with are so welcoming. The opportunities I have been able to involve myself in have been invaluable. I have learnt so much both personally and professionally in the last 4 months and Livingstone really did become my home. The power of community here in Zambia is so inspiring and I am endlessly grateful to now be a part of the African Impact community.
