Swaziland Visas
Most travellers to the Kingdom of Swaziland can enter for up to 60 days in any consecutive 12 months without requiring a visa. Some members of the EU require a visa, which is issued at point of entry free of charge.
Don’t forget your Yellow fever vaccination certificate.
Swaziland Health, Vaccinations, HIV/AIDS & Drinking Water
Malaria -
Malaria prophylactics recommended by your personal physician are necessary. As well as insect repellent and covering yourself up with long trousers and light cotton long-sleeved shirts in the evenings.
Vaccinations -
Hepatitis A, Polio, Typhoid
Vaccination against yellow fever is mandatory if travelling from an infected area, and recommended even if you are not. Be sure to have your vaccination record of yellow fever with you when you arrive.
HIV/AIDS -
HIV/AIDS is a risk and it is recommended that you take all the necessary precautions.
It is not necessary to drink bottled water in Swaziland.

Swaziland Weather & Climate
- Winter: June - August, are some of the most pleasant months in Swazi.
- The Eastern Lowlands have very chilly evenings and early mornings at this time of year and hot weather from October – April.
- The Highlands have fairly heavy rains from October – April.
