This edition will include updates on our Lion release and rehabilitaiton programme, which is taking bold steps towards our first release date in Zambia, which is currently pegged at around August this year. Watch this space for further updates though - we will also soon be launching the ALERT website, under the careful eye of the Executive Director for this trust, David Youldon.  African Encounter supports the trust in Zambia which focuses on African Lion and Environmental Research (Trust). Our main focus over the next 2 months will be assisting with Cyclone Favio relief work. We are all ready to go with accepting volunteers into this exciting project, where you wiil be based 1 minutes walk from the beach and within sight of the World Heritage Site Bazaruto Archipelago (cluster of Islands) – the project payment also includes a PADI certified diving course.
