2006
Hi Everyone!
The last couple of months have been some of our busiest ever, with the Northern Hemisphere’s summer sending a wave of keen travellers and volunteers our way, and so we have a pile of exciting volunteer stories and expedition anecdotes for you.
In this newsletter I have included feedback on our BRILLIANT Kenya Expedition, a Livingstone Community programme update, news from Cape Town and of course our lion programmes – marching determinedly forward to our first release dates in 2007. This includes updates from Andrew and Wendy Conolly as well as David Youldon, our senior project manager.
This newsletter also marks the launch of the PATHFINDERS website - our partner organisation that focuses on Adventure Expeditions with a difference in Africa. Climb Kilimanjaro; Raft the Nile; Dhow safaris and island trekking in the World Heritage Site Bazaruto Archipelago off the Mozambican coast; bush survival courses in Hwange National Park, Kayak the mighty Zambezi River… and more.
I sincerely hope that you will forgive my African-timing on the release of this newsletter – and I will now leave you to read on as I prepare to start putting together the September-October issue… best I start soon or it might only be coming your way in time for Christmas!
