Hi Everyone!
Once again I find myself sitting down to write this after having put it off for far too long amongst the flurry of activity that seems to characterise our lives at African Impact!
There have been some exciting new developments over the last few weeks and months, all of which are enclosed for your reading pleasure!! Not least the addition of 4 new cubs at our Antelope Park lion breeding and rehabilitation programme!! Lulu (Max’s girlfriend) gave birth 5 weeks ago, to the delight of the 18 volunteers that are currently at the programme. The 4 boys (the L’s) are some of the strongest and most beautiful cubs we have ever had the joy of working with.
Our Kenya Expedition is still planned for the 26th July – 17th August, and we are putting together a great passenger list. Guys are being shown up as they are dramatically outnumbered by girls at this stage – so I am personally encouraging some male interest... it is for the purpose of re-building a local Maasai village clinic after all...
A first for this month's newsletter is our volunteer profile. This month we hear from Paddy who was at the Mozambique Dolphin research programme.
There are still spaces available!
