Fundraisers & Administrators Needed - Nomadic Communities Trust Newsletters » Jan/Feb 2006 » Nomadic Communities Trust - Volunteers Needed Volunteers as Fundraisers and Administrators Needed to assist with Mobile Clinics in Kenya - Nomadic Communities Trust. We are still looking for an older, mature individual or couple who would like to spend a minimum of 3 months working with Shanni Wreford-Smith (founder of the Nomadic Communities Trust) on various aspects of administration and project development at her base location of Laikipia in Kenya. The volunteers would stay in a beautiful and simple cottage on Shanni’s property in this wildlife haven, and would have the opportunity to go out into the wilderness to visit the mobile clinics and see them in operation throughout various different wilderness areas. Your main task would be to assist Shanni with researching potential donors, editing of website information for her work and to assist with general Trust administration. Editing or writing experience would be a great asset for this placement. Shanni is desperately in need of the extra assistance, and we are offering volunteers the opportunity to make a valuable difference in the operations of the Nomadic Communities Trust.
