News from a nearby Wild Dog African volunteer project
I got the opportunity to visit a Wild Dog Project not far from Miombo. These guys are on the same mission we are, saving the wild life! Unfortunately most of the local people consider these dogs as pests.
The Wild Dog Unit asks all neighboring farms and beyond of sightings in their area. They will rescue and translocate them to Kariba where they are free from snare’s. The Wild Dog Project also educates the local children on the dogs in hope that future generations will appreciate them and not try and get rid of them.
