New Rhino permits granted at Hwange - volunteers to start there soon?
Very exciting news... we have been given the Rhino permits which gives us the ok to patrol, monitor and translocate these endangered creatures!
There is going to be a lot of work needed to get the Black Rhino Sanctuary up and running. The Rehabilitation Center is for injured and distressed Rhino’s. Once the area is ready, staff and volunteers will need help monitoring the injured or sick animals, they need to be kept active at all times and fed twice daily with specific plants that need to be collected from Hwange Park itself.
This is just the surface of what is needed...
