Mozambique Visas
All visitors to Mozambique require visas, which are valid for 90 days. Traveller should also have proof of onward travel.
Mozambique Health, Vaccinations, HIV/AIDS & Drinking Water
Malaria -
Malaria prophylactics recommended by your personal physician are necessary. As well as insect repellent and covering yourself up with long trousers and light cotton long-sleeved shirts in the evenings.
Vaccinations -
Hepatitis A, Polio, Typhoid
Vaccination against yellow fever is mandatory if travelling from an infected area, and recommended even if you are not. Be sure to have your vaccination record of yellow fever with you when you arrive.
HIV/AIDS -
HIV/AIDS is a risk and it is recommended that you take all the necessary precautions.
It is advised that you drink bottled water in Mozambique where possible.

Mozambique Weather & Climate
- Mozambique has one of the longest stretches of coastline of any African country on the East coast and a typically tropical climate.
- Rainy Season and hottest months: November – March. The high lands and south coast get the worst of the rains.
- June – August: this is when both rainfall and temperatures are at their lowest.
- Areas near the coast have extremely high humidity during the rainy season.
